Remember that in "The Sparrow", SETI picked up a concert of music as signal? So now it's gonna be a blog?? And I suppose these aliens speak english or whatever Terran language the blog is in? That's the Star Trek syndrome. Oh wait, the aliens will have a universal translator, of course!

I think I liked "The Sparrow" better, where music was the medium of the first inter-planetary communication. And I wonder how many aliens read English or any other Terran-based language. Oh wait, a babblefish. That's the ticket!

At least in "The Sparrow" it was music that SETI picked up. And Blogs in Space must assume that the aliens will be able to read and understand some Terran language. Oh wait, the Babblefish, I forgot, they can use that!

I think I preferred the idea that music would be the link between extraterrestrial cultures, as put forth in "The Sparrow". I'm not so sure I'd want blogs to represent us. Plus it assumes that the E.T.s would be able to read a terran language. Wait...never mind. I forgot about the babblefish!
